Roots & Waves provides specialist alternative provision, PSHE, and tailored 1:1 SEND support in Sutton. Alongside our work with EHE and EOTAS learners, we offer guided adult forest bathing (launching Autumn 2027) in local woodlands. We partner with families, individuals, and local authorities across the London Borough of Sutton to build life skills, confidence, and well-being, adapting gently to the natural ebb and flow of daily life.

Weekday Holistic Mentoring (Daytime):

Flexible alternative provision led by a qualified Forest School Leader and primary teacher. Focused on practical skills, PSHE, emotional regulation, and community connection for EHE, SEND, and EOTAS placements.

Academic Tutoring (After-School):

Low-pressure 1:1 primary subject support tailored to your child’s stage, helping them build educational confidence at their own pace.

Roots & Waves offers a gentle refuge for adults seeking a pause from daily demands. We invite you into a restorative relationship with nature through shared woodland experiences.

Guided Group Shinrin-yoku:

Restorative outdoor journeys led by a certified FB+ Advanced Guide and Forest Therapy Practitioner. Designed to ease stress, quiet a busy mind, and foster deep mental well-being within a supportive community.

Mindful Connection:

Unhurried, shared sensory invitations allow your nervous system to settle. Step back, release the noise of everyday life, and simply breathe at your own natural pace.
